Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something through one, we receive a commission from the seller. You pay exactly the same price either way — the commission comes out of the seller’s margin, not out of your pocket.

Where this applies

Every page that carries an affiliate link says so on the page, above the point where you would click it. We do not rely on this page to do that work.

What it does and does not change

It pays for the things we try, which is the point. It does not change what we write. Where something has a real drawback we say so, because a review that never finds a fault is not a review and is no use to anyone deciding.

We do not control the seller’s own website, their checkout, or what they claim there. If you find that a seller’s page says something we would not have said, we would genuinely like to know — that is a reason for us to stop recommending them.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by the seller or their payment network, not by us. Where a product has a guarantee we state its length on the page, but the guarantee is theirs and the terms are on their site.
