Who writes this, and why

Guinea Pigged exists because most reviews of things bought online are written by people who have not bought the thing. We buy it, use it for long enough to have an opinion worth reading, and write down what happened — including the parts that did not work.

We are deliberately narrow. Rather than covering a category, we look at one thing properly and say who it suits. A recommendation that applies to everyone is not a recommendation.
